【駆ける想い（Mind of departure）】

彼らに乗り、私は初めての海を駆ける。
白く美しく輝く彼らを見つめていたかった。
紅く夕日に煌めく彼らを眺めていたかった。
いつまでも。

夕凪の中、大陸の近くで戯れていた彼らは、私が近寄っても逃げなかった。
それどころか、彼らは話し掛けてきた。
その大きな身体、いや、顔と言った方が良いかもしれない、その白く輝く身体を私へと近づけながら、私に声を掛ける。
人と話すのは久し振りだと言いながら、その青い目で凝視する様に私を見る。
私は思わず仰け反りながら、初めて彼らExpressive shellfish を見たことを伝えた。
彼らは、私が何処から来たのか、何故ここに居るのか、何て言う名前なのか、私のことを知りたがった。
私は、大陸の中央にある街から来たこと、初めて海を見たこと、Ediherahという名であることを伝えた。
私達は互いのことを訊き合った。

彼らの一人が「そろそろだ」と言い、「ああ、そうだな」ともう一人。
すると風が大陸の方から吹き始めた。
「もう帰るの？」と彼らに訊ねる。
「ああ、そうさ」と答える。
思わず「一緒に行きたいな、海へ」と言う。
「ああ、いいよ」と言いながら、背の方を向ける。
「さあ、俺に乗りな」

大陸から吹く風を受け、大海へと帰っていく。
彼らと一緒に私も風を受ける。
彼らは白く輝く身体を紅く煌めかせながら、真っ赤な夕日に向かって海を駆ける。
これが海なのだ。何と美しいのだろう。

そして私は見上げる。
そこに浮かぶ大きな月に想いを馳せる。
宇宙という大海に想いを馳せる。
いつの日か。

Take them, I ride the first sea.
I wanted to look at them shining beautifully white.
I wanted to look at them sparkling red on the setting sun.
forever and ever.

In the evening calm, those frolicking in the vicinity of the continent did not run away even if I approached.
On the contrary, they talked to me.
That big body, no, it might be better to say that it is a face, they talk to me, while approaching white shining body to me.
While saying that they had not talked with humans for a long time, to stare at me by their blue eye.
While I warped my body to avoid that face, I told them that I saw Expressive shellfish for the first time.
They wanted to know where I came from, why I am here, what my name, and about me.
I told them that I came from the city in the middle of the continent, that I saw the sea for the first time, the name Ediherah.
We got to know each other.

One of them said “it’s almost time” and another one “Oh, that’s right”.
Then the wind began to blow from the continent.
Ask them “Are you going home?”
“Oh, that’s right”
I say “I’d like to go with you, to the sea”.
While turning “Oh, okay,” he turns his back to me.
“Come on, get on me”

As we receive the wind blowing from the continent, we return to the ocean.
Together with them, I receive the wind to my body.
They sparkle reddish the white shiny body, and run through the sea towards the red sunset.
This is the sea. How beautiful it is!

And I look up.
I think of the big moon floating there.
I think of the ocean called the universe.
Someday, I will go.
