【宮殿の浮遊玉座（Floating throne of the palace）】

「また、お客だわぁ」
「謁見室へ行って」
私は浮遊玉座に言った。
今日はこれで七人目だ。いつもより多いわ。
まだ夜明け前から一人目が訪ねてきた。本当、勘弁して欲しいわ。
でも仕方ないわね。
私はこの宮殿の主。この都市の領主だもの。

今日も色々な種族に会ったわね。
母星語だけしか喋れなくて、何言ってるか判んない人もいるもんね。
これでも私は、相手の言葉を聞くと、右脳ダウンロードで大抵の言葉は直ぐに話せる様になるけど、今日の人は困ったわね。惑星データベースに無いんだから。
普段、どうやって暮らしてるんだろ。

何だか最近、独り言が多くなってしまった。
私は生まれた時から、この宮殿に住んでるんだけど、2年前に、銀河の支配者がこの惑星にも、非ヒューマノイド外交を勧めたお陰で、この都市も急に人口が増えちゃって大変。大きな種族に合わせてアパートも一杯造ったわよ。一棟に二人しか住めないなんて大丈夫なのかしら。
本当、この先どうなっちゃうんだろう。
