【巡礼船～忘れ去られたスペースコロニー～（The Pilgrimage Ship～The Forgotten Space Settlement～）】

「おお、やって来たぞ」
「ああ、船だ」
私達二人を除き、周りの皆が拝み始めた。
聞きなれない歌が響き渡る。
彼らが唱える神への讃歌だ。

船はどんどん此方に近づき、その巨大さが判る様になってきた。
歌声も更に増していく。

円弧形状の船体。
上空で中心に集まる様に聳え立つ帆の柱。
そこに張られたソーラーパネルを備えた帆。
上空の帆の先端には巨大なクリスタルがある様だ。
柱はクリスタルのエネルギーとソーラーエネルギーを船体に伝えている様だ。

この地方の信者は、定期的に巡回しているこの船を神として崇めている。今日はその日なのだ。
私と私の同僚は、私達の星へ伝わってきた噂を確認する為にこの星へ訪れた。
そして今、船は目の前に存在している。

「やはり、私の思った通りだ」
「ああ、そうだね」
私は、この星の噂を聞いて、この星の歴史を調べてみた。そして気になることがあり詳しく調べてみた。
そして気がついた。
「君は本当に凄いなぁ、いつも誰も気がつかないことを直ぐに気づくなぁ」
「ああ、噂の船を描いたという不鮮明な絵が、私にはどうしても、そう思えたんだ」
「しかし、コロニーの姿勢調整用スラスターが船の推進力になってるなんて驚いたね」
「それに、クリスタルのエネルギーも全く衰えていないよ」

この星で、遥か昔に、初期のスペースコロニーが事故で崩壊した。
その出来事は忘れ去られ、今では歴史に詳しい者だけが一つの史実として知っている程度。
だが、民衆は忘れなかったんだろう。
彼らはそれを畏れの対象として伝承してきた。
いつしか伝承は崇める対象となり、史実は忘れ去られた。

私達の周りでは、いつまでも讃歌が響き渡った。
私達は船を見つめながら、その響きに浸った。

“Oh, that one came.”
“Wow, ship”
Except for us both, all the people around us began to worship.
A song that I’ve never heard reverberates.
It is a hymn to God they cast.

The ship has steadily gotten closer to us and its giantness has come to be known.
The singing voice further increases.

Arc shaped hull.
The pillar of the sail rising like to gather at the center in the sky.
A sail equipped with solar panels stretched there.
There seems to be a huge crystal at the tip of the sail in the sky.
It seems that the pillar is transmitting crystal energy and solar energy to the hull.

Believers in this region worship this ship regularly visiting as a god. Today is that day.
My colleague and I visited this star to ascertain the rumor that had propagated to our star.
And now, the ship is in front of our eyes.

“It is as I thought.”
“Yes, that’s right.”
I listened to the rumors of this star and examined the history of this star. And because I had something to care about, I studied in detail.
And I noticed.
“You are truly amazing, you always notice that everyone does not notice.”
“The blurry picture that someone drew a rumor ship is absolutely seemed it to me.
“However, I was surprised that the thruster for settlement attitude adjustment is the boat propulsion force.”
“Moreover, the energy of the crystal is not waning at all.”

In this star at long ago, the early space settlement collapsed in the accident.
The incident was forgotten. Now only people familiar with history know it as one historical fact.
But the people did not forget.
They have inherited it as a subject of fear.
During the years, tradition became the subject of worship, historical facts were forgotten.

In around us, the hymns echoed forever.
As we watched the ship, we soaked in the sound.
